Mission Systems NeXT series of electronics allow for High Voltage transmission improvements of 1-5%+ efficiency net, improving high (HV) voltage transmission efficiency at any voltage level. Reducing operational costs, and increasing total transmission power, while being easily implemented into existing systems.
Mission Systems HV transmission technology, and Intellectual Property developed in house, uses a hybrid system utilizing several technologies blended into a highly efficient sub system. This sub system can then be easily and efficiently introduced at low cost into existing infrastructures with minimal down time and cost.
Gains are achieved by reducing reactive losses by unifying power factor (PF) in transmission across HV and LV power delivery. (assuming 0.90 to 0.95 average PF in existing systems / recovering reactive losses of 0.1 - 0.05)
THEREFOR
Using MISSION SYSTEMS implementation creating unity power factor using AC transmission lines, 40-80 TWh of energy is recovered annually resulting in revenue generation of $7.2 to $14.4 billion annually at 18 cents per KWh (average North American Rate).
